Jesus Crucifixion Video

Good Friday is the day Christians commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. Watch the lovingly crafted video below about Jesus and his death on the cross.
It is set to the song "The Revelation" sung by Philips,Craig & Dean. I have included the lyrics after the video

(note-the video contains some strong images, including excerpts from the movie The Passion of the Christ.)

Christ is crucified, Christ is Risen, Christ WILL come again!

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son,
that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 10:13 and Acts 2:21  Everyone who calls on the name of the name of the Lord will be saved.

The Bible says that "if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"  Romans 10:9

Believe and Be Saved- Say this simple prayer-
Dear God,
I know that I am a sinner
and that my sin separates me from you.
I realized that I cannot do anything to earn my way to heaven.
I believe that Jesus, who lived a sinless life, took the punishment for my sins
by dying on the cross and coming back to life.
I ACCEPT Him as my SAVIOR and LORD.
Thank you for forgiving me
and saving me now.
In Jesus' name, I pray.
Amen.

Lyrics to "The Revelation Song"

Worthy is the,
Lamb who was slain
Holy, Holy, is He
Sing a new song, to Him who sits on
Heaven's Mercy Seat
[2x]

Holy, Holy, Holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Who was, and is, and is to come
With all creation I sing:
Praise to the King of Kings!
You are my everything,
And I will adore You…!
…Yeah!

Clothed in rainbows, of living color
Flashes of lightning, rolls of thunder
Blessing and honor, strength and
Glory and power be
To You the Only Wise King,
Yeah

Holy, Holy, Holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Who was, and is, and is to come, yeah
With all creation I sing:
Praise to the King of Kings !
You are my everything,
And – I - will - adore You !
…Yeah!

Filled with wonder,
Awestruck wonder
At the mention of Your Name

THANKS BE TO GOD FOR HIS INDESCRIBABLE GIFT-- JESUS!

Worldview Basics of What,Why plus Colson

What is a worldview? Why is it important? Everyone has their view of the world although they may not realize it
Below you will find out the basics about "worldview. I've included links to excellent articles and websites on this topic.

The inspiration for this post was a video by Chuck Colson- his '2 Minute Warning" from March 19th. You'll find that video later in this post.

What is a Worldview?
According to American Heritage Dictionary -n
1. The overall perspective from which one sees and interprets the world.
2. A collection of beliefs about life and the universe held by an individual or a group. In both senses also called Weltanschauung

A worldview is the lens through which you view the world. Its expression is shown by the way we choose to live.

Chuck Colson explains it this way on his website-
Q: Why is worldview important?
A: Our worldview is made up of our fundamental assumptions about reality, so it affects not only our thinking, but our behavior toward ourselves, others and God.

"Every person in history has asked themself basic questions:
‘Who am I?’
‘Why am I here?’
‘Is there a God?’
‘What is the purpose of life?’
and
'Where did I Come From?'
'Why is there Sin and Suffering?'
'Is there a Solution- A Way Out?'
'What is My Purpose in Life?'

Your answers to these questions make up your worldview — your set of beliefs about the nature of reality.
But more importantly, because your worldview consists of
your answers to the big questions, it determines your behavior in all areas of life —
how you worship, how you relate to those around you, the way you study,
how you work, how you use your abilities, the way you view sex,
whether you gworldview_manet married, how you treat your spouse,
the way you train your children, how you vote, the way you treat human life and even the way you deal with death.
What’s the bottom line?
Your worldview is not only the most critical component of your thinking — it’s the most critical component of your behavior.

What is a Christian Worldview?
(Biblical Worldview)

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed
by the renewing of your mindThen you will be able to test and approve
what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will Romans 12:2
